  4. Most authors and writes have a certain genre or theme. Being able to write from different types of genres can help authors be successful in more than one type of reader categories. For example, some children book authors may want to write books about parenting or create learning books too. It is all based on children but there are multiple ways of writing about what you know.

  8. If u have a voice speak up so it can be geard. Alot of people have interesting bios but are scared to put there business out on paper for others to read. Don't be ashamed to write about your life. Your voice can teach others lessons, give them hope or entertain them. Your voice can be in a book that helps readers connect to you.

  9. Be careful when choosing a publishing company. Make sure you stay away from those that cost you more than helping you earn more... something to note for those new authors!

  10. It has been a while since I posted a tip. But this one is for the new aspiring authors. Before sending your manuscripts to publishers and agents make sure you have proof read and edited to the best of your ability because even though you may expect an editor to fix any errors, they are not always fixed. As an author you should be able to edit and proofread your materials before sending them to a professional organization.
